Adventures in 3D

Back when I was a teenager I really wanted to be a 3D modeler or animator. I’ve done a bunch of 3D work for various projects over the years, but I’ve been wanting to get better at my 3D skills using Blender recently. I’ve shared some of my experiments over on my instagram and thought it wouldn’t hurt the share them here as well.

I thought it was fun to play with some local companies imagery and I’ve been wanting to do something with the Malty National logo for sometime. I dug a little bit into trying to animate it and I’ve been looking into bringing it into Unity game engine to play around with it a little more.

I came across this great illustration from Kitty Mews on Instagram of Regina’s Core Coffee and I thought it would be fun to translate it into 3D. I really love low poly isometric stuff and want to do more of that.
